WHO WE HELP EVERY KIND OF WORK

Whatever the job is called, the hours still have to be paid.

Wage theft looks the same in a kitchen, a warehouse, a nail salon, a family’s home and a city payroll office: long weeks, a flat amount, no records. These are the kinds of work we handle most. Tap any one to see how the pay usually goes wrong and what the law says. If your job is not listed, we still want to hear from you.

NOT ON THE LIST

The law does not care what the job is called.

01

Every hourly, daily and cash job is covered

Minimum wage and overtime cover almost every private job in New York, New Jersey, Florida and Pennsylvania, whatever the industry and whatever the paperwork says.

02

Your immigration status does not matter

Wages are owed for work that was done. Courts do not let employers avoid paying because of a worker’s status, and threats about status are unlawful retaliation.

03

No records is not a defense

Keeping accurate time and pay records is the employer’s duty. When there are none, your own account of the hours can carry the claim.

WHO WE HELP
